Welcome to the Sunday School Ministry at Love of Jesus Indian Church ! Our mission is to provide a nurturing and engaging environment where children and youth can learn about God’s love, grow in their faith, and build a strong foundation for a lifetime of spiritual growth. We are dedicated to partnering with families to help children discover the joy of knowing Jesus and living according to His teachings.
Our Mission
The mission of the Sunday School Ministry at LOJ is to educate, equip, and inspire children to follow Christ and grow in their understanding of the Bible. We aim to create a fun, safe, and welcoming space where children can explore their faith and develop a personal relationship with God.
Sunday School is a place where children grow in the knowledge and love of God. The vision that fuels our work in Children’s Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Our goal is to teach children, the love and salvation plan of God for us and also help them to understand the importance of their faith in God all through their lives by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them to serve Him and share their faith with others. We teach biblical stories which helps in building the faith of the young – Sing lots of old and new action songs, which are captivating for the young minds Encouraging children to learn memory verses relevant to the stories they hear every week
Programs and Curriculum
Our Sunday School Ministry offers a range of classes and activities tailored to different age groups, ensuring that every child receives age-appropriate biblical instruction:
- Preschool (Ages 3-5)
- Curriculum: Our preschool program focuses on introducing young children to the love of Jesus through Bible stories, songs, and interactive play.
- Activities: Creative arts and crafts, storytelling, and hands-on activities that help children learn about God’s creation and love.
- Elementary (Grades K-5)
- Curriculum: Children engage in Bible lessons that emphasize key stories, characters, and principles, fostering a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
- Activities: Group discussions, games, memory verses, and service projects that encourage practical application of biblical teachings.
- Middle School (Grades 6-8)
- Curriculum: Our middle school program helps pre-teens explore their faith and identity in Christ, focusing on spiritual growth and moral values.
- Activities: Small group discussions, worship, interactive lessons, and team-building exercises that promote a sense of community.
- High School (Grades 9-12)
- Curriculum: High school students delve into deeper theological concepts and engage in discussions about faith, culture, and ethics.
- Activities: Bible studies, youth-led worship services, mission trips, and leadership development opportunities.

- Vacation Bible School (VBS): A week-long summer program filled with fun activities, worship, and Bible lessons that captivate children’s imaginations and deepen their faith.
- Seasonal Events: Celebrate Christmas, Easter, and other important occasions with special activities and performances that bring Bible stories to life.
- Family Sunday: Join us for a monthly service where families worship together, participate in activities, and strengthen their faith as a community.
- Parent Workshops: Offering guidance and support to parents on nurturing their children’s spiritual development at home.
